After completing training, business proposal preparation, and validation, these members are now ready to grow and expand their small enterprises—creating additional sources of income for their families.

In her message, Operations Head Ms. Madelo reminded them that the opportunity given is not by chance, but a responsibility to be valued. Drawing from her own journey, she encouraged members to stay grateful, persevere, and recognize the many forms of blessings beyond income.

As one member shared, “I now have a reason to come to work every day—I have an obligation.”

While said in jest, the statement captured the essence of the program. Though there may be a temporary reduction in a member’s payout, the initiative opens up an additional income stream beyond regular employment. Ultimately, this reflects the program’s goal and a translation of sustainable development goal (SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth): to promote economic strengthening and long-term sustainability among members through meaningful social intervention.
