Ninety-six eager pupils at San Vicente Elementary School in Barangay San Vicente, Tangub City warmly welcomed the team from Asiapro Multipurpose Cooperative–IMG and the Asiapro Foundation, Inc. (AFI) in a meaningful outreach programme held on Wednesday.

The school principal, Dorris D. Jornales—who has led the institution for the past three years— received the donations on behalf of the school community. This marks the first time San Vicente Elementary  is a beneficiary of a  community welfare initiative from private organizations. 

AMPC-IMG Production Head Jake Soberano of the AMPC Tangub satellite office, with the recommendation of the entire staff, chose the rural school as the focal beneficiary of this year’s “Koop Damayan” outreach in the area. 

Among the gifts presented to the school were seven wall-mounted fans to improve classroom comfort, a high-capacity printer to support teachers’ instructional materials, and a sound speaker to enhance announcements and school gatherings. AFI also provided every pupil an individually packaged learning kits and hygiene items.

This event pictured a corporate social responsibility in action: the synergy between AMPC and AFI’s outreach arm through “Koop Damayan” spirit of service. It is a testament  of the Cooperative's culture of generosity, solidarity, and community investment.
