Koopreneur Program Expands Economic Empowerment in South Cotabato
Tupi, South Cotabato — The Koopreneur Program continues to advance its mission of strengthening the economic empowerment and resilience of cooperative members, holding another training session in Tupi, South Cotabato. The activity gathered 29 cooperative members along with 8 community participants, underscoring the growing reach of the initiative.
In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Negosyo Center, the Asiapro Foundation delivered entrepreneurial sessions designed to provide practical guidance and hands-on learning. By combining entrepreneurial education with capital assistance, the program ensures that beneficiaries are not only financially supported but also equipped with the tools, mindset, and confidence to sustain and grow their micro and nano enterprises. Since its pilot in 2024, the Koopreneur Program has trained a total of 218 participants. Of these, 55 now operate thriving businesses—clear evidence of the program’s successful implementation and long-term impact.
