On July 3, 2025, the Koop Damayan Projectโ€”a joint initiative by Tipon Federation, Asiapro Foundation, and Worklife Multipurpose Cooperativeโ€”successfully held its Brigada Eskwela at Manggahan Elementary School in Pasig City. This ongoing project reflects the organizations' collective commitment to support public schools by providing much-needed resources and promoting cooperation in the spirit of bayanihan.

Manggahan Elementary School is also one of the public schools in Pasig City that accommodates learners with special needs. At present, the school caters a total of 131 SPED (Special Education) students. We were honored to extend our support to them by providing school supplies, hygiene kits, and attention prepared for all learners, reinforcing our mission of inclusivity and equal access to education for every child.

During the activity, students received individual sets of school supplies including self-care products and other learning essentials. In addition to the students, the Koop Damayan Project also provided for  four SPED  teachers with reams of bond paper and other teaching necessities to support their instructional needs. Snacks and refreshments were distributed as well  to both learners, parents  and teachers, helping us create a warm, welcoming environment throughout the event even during a stormy day.

To help improve the physical learning environment, the Koop Damayan team also delivered floor mats. paints, and maintenance materials, which will be used to clean and brighten up the schoolโ€™s SPED  facilities in preparation for the new school year.

The success of the event was made possible through the active involvement and cooperation of the school administration, parents, and teachers from the local community. The dedication and teamwork of our Members from Tipon Federation, Asiapro Foundation, and Worklife MPC were instrumental in ensuring that the activity ran smoothly and meaningfully.

The Koop Damayan Project remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting Filipino learners and educators by helping enhance public education facilities and resources. As we continue this journey, we look forward to reaching more schools and communitiesโ€”bringing not only supplies, but also hope, encouragement, and the belief that every child deserves a quality learning environment. With each school we visit, we are reminded that by working hand in hand, we are not just building classroomsโ€”we are building dreams
